Welcome!

I have always been deeply fascinated by the human experience and the embodied wisdom that arises in unexpected times. During my early 20’s, I spent time in communities around the world that had experienced significant challenges. Connecting with community members, I was struck by a capacity for joy and celebration amidst these hardships. These experiences sparked my fascination in the power of community, embodiment, and ritual, leading me to study different wellness modalities from experts in the field for the past 14 years.

After over a decade studying and practicing massage, craniosacral therapy and coaching, I earned my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Somatic Counseling and Body Psychotherapy from Naropa University. As a highly regarded program and a pioneer in the field of somatic counseling, Naropa taught a wide range of somatic counseling techniques alongside cutting edge science, and all through a social justice lens.

I then went on to work at a community mental health clinic providing individual, couples and group sessions to clients impacted by relationship distress, nervous system dysregulation (trauma, depression, anxiety, personality symptoms), systems of oppression, addiction, PTSD, chronic illness and big life transitions including birth and death of loved ones. This solidified my commitment to both personal and collective wellness, and I am committed to learning and devoting my time to shift systems of oppression.

I have had a private practice in the broader field of wellness for over 12 years. My private practice has an array of offerings including cranial sacral therapy, massage therapy, coaching, doula services, acudetox/acuwellness and seasonal workshops. I am a certified SomaSource leader, which is a global movement-based program that supports life cycles and social change. I have worked with over 1,000 clients ages 0-98 years old helping them navigate many different life experiences.

My approach to counseling is shaped by the challenges I have met in my own life, and is inspired by all those who supported me in remembering my well being alongside these challenges. I believe that, as Jennie Gershater-Lopez says, “we are not meant to do it alone”.

Magic and transformation happen when we experience supportive connection. It is an honor and big joy to provide a space for connection where clients can experience their wellbeing and connect to the truth of who they are.
